If you've never visited that portion of Texas known as the "Beautiful Texas Hill Country," like me, you've probably dismissed the "Beautiful" part as a standard Texas brag.  After all, many states have hill country and much of it quite scenic (not the least of which is my home state of Kentucky).

Well, this wasn't the first time I've been wrong about anything and probably won't be the last, but it was certainly one of the largest errors I've ever made.
